1. Exhibition of Opto-electronics Technology and Equipments xhibition scope: LED
technology and equipments (OLED Organic Light Emitting Display Technology,
LED lighting, display, chips, equipped components); optical communication
technique and equipments (optical communication technique,components, testing
instruments, equipments etc.) optical precise components(original, materials,
optical components processing and testing equipments etc.);laser and infra-red
technology.
2. Exhibition of Proprietary Technology and ProductsExhibition Scope: Proprietary
projects created by institutions of higher education and research academies and
institutes; proprietary projects and products created by the enterprises in Dongguan
City; non-service invention-creation; inventions or creations made in Hong Kong,
Macao and Taiwan; etc.
3. Exhibition of Excellent Works from 5th Dongguan International Industrial Design
Contest.
Exhibition Scope: 250 entries in the Contest, which have been preliminary approved and chosen through public appraisal, will be exhibited in the Cooperation Week. This exhibition will fall into 3 sections: Exhibition Section for the Works from Enterprises in Dongguan City; Exhibition Section for Public Works; Exhibition Section for Models.

Background
Against a backdrop of global energy shortages and increasingly stringent environmental requirements, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games impressed the watching world by showcasing the applications of high luminosity LEDs. China SSL 2009 will focus on both the long-term prospects of the solid state lighting sector and the current negative impacts of the global financial crisis, and examine the various different ways in which the new opportunities and innovative developments of SSL can be grasped, including technology, patents, standards and certifications, markets, capital and industrial alliances.
